In this world, we all want to prosper. We all want to overcome, to conquer, and to succeed. But in order for us to do that, we first have to start by knowing ourselves. Get to know yourself first, before you try embarking on your journey to prosper and succeed.
Throughout our lives, our self-esteem develops and evolves as we build an image of ourselves through our experiences with different people and activities. Our success and failures and how we are treated by our families and the community in general contribute to the creation of our basic self-esteem.
How we feel about ourselves can influence how we live our lives. When you feel that you are likeable and lovable, you have better relationships with people. Having a healthy self-esteem allows you to consider yourself and live life to the fullest, because self-esteem plays a role in everything we do. When you have self-esteem, you are mentally prepared to fight the ruthless giant that is disposed to inflict sufferings famously known as LIFE.
I once heard of a saying that went, “When life gives you lemons, make lemonade”. I can say that I never really knew what it meant until now. Life is not the propitious puppy I thought it was while I was still transitioning into adulthood. I now know that life throws bitter, not so good obstacles at you, and you first need to learn to accept its methods, and then challenge it.
Yes, life can be a monster, but it is a bitter-sweet monster. It always gives you a second opportunity. Whatever you do, whatever wrongs you do, whatever crimes you commit, there are always second chances to help you right those wrongs, so use them wisely.
Nowadays, education comes with a better life, and no one is too old for education, so change your ways and do good. There are many ways to succeed, but the riches of mother earth come from sweat, hard work, and determination.
“Dream big. Aim higher. Do good work, smart. Focus more. Be determined. Be open-minded. Do you. Keep your mind fed. Cash flowing. Body right. Self-esteem high. Be happy. Love more. Hate less. Fight. The time for the tie to come has come.”
Tell us: Besides education, what other ways do you know that can lead a person to success?
