When you know the truth
Don’t claim my love
When you don’t really need it

Please don’t feign the smile
When the atmosphere is so tense
A kind of relieving pressure
To make it go easier

You told me, to never lose hope
You told me, it won’t take long
You told me, I should wait for you
You told me, you were coming back to me

I had impatiently waited
Lost hope
Lost trust
Lost love

I gave up
I broke the star
A sign of your love
I could no longer wait for you

I went up my way
I met a new true friend
I fell in love
I gave my heart to love.

The truth is I loved you for a reason. I'm sorry you u feel I claim your love, I never once pretended I needed it. Your love kept me going through this dry season of our love. You agreed with no doubts when I asked you to wait for me; Years later here you are doubting my love And questioning our relationship's terms and conditions. When I came back to you,we were already another used to be, You had moved on without me. You had forgotten your promise. Here you are with this poem and You have the Audacity to blame it all on me. I'm sorry I kept you waiting, I see you lost hope in me, - in us. I'm happy you found someone new. I hurt just as much as you do. I believed your promises just as much as she does. You tell me who's to blame here?
