Where is an African rose?
The splendour ornament of Africa
An African exalted sprinkler
An exquisite rarely emblem of our Africa

Lately, it is overwritten by foreign rose
From the head to the ankle,
It’s even undermining its naturalist,
Adversity of understanding its beauty is its adversary

It is drunk with creature from outer space ethos,
Foreign morality indoctrinated its cultural intellectual
Where is my African rose?
It is an imported reflection in my communal observation

An African echo is infrequently seen
A replication of African rose is nowhere to be found
The dominant of foreign ethos took over our Africanity
Oh! African rose! Recognised Africa
