Coronavirus
The days too eventually fell silent,
No sounds, not even from the crows,
All you could hear was the sound of
Fear knocking on the doors
You dare not open.
Open and you’re gone.

Stay indoors like a baby in the womb:
Alive but trapped
When will we be born again?
Tomorrow?
Oh, how many more tomorrows
Will we bid goodbye
Before the sun parts
this dark cloud?
Yes, one day the sun will rise again.
Let’s be patient and wait,
the babe will be born.
