Words, just like toothpaste,
Which have been put out cannot be put back?
We can try to take them back,
But the damage has already been done.
We throw words into the universe not knowing,
That in the lonely hour they will come back to haunt us
The depth in our words may inspire or destroy
The alluring power of words,
The seduction that comes from them liberates us emotionally.
We go to extremes acting out how we feel,
But we never really say what we mean or mean.
Words like swords cut deep and divide worlds,
Without them who would we be?
What would become of us?
