I love to watch her sleeping as the new day
comes creeping in,
Then I kiss her gently as the nighttime fades away
She is a beauty sleeping so softly in my keeping
I listen to her breathing, upon my chest her
head does lay…

And when she wakes up yawning she
brightens up my morning,
Her yawning is infectious but not as
infectious as her smile.
Though she gets embarrassed by my smiling I find
her coyness so beguiling.
She is a ray of sunshine that brightens up my day
I wrap her under covers; we cuddle up as lovers.
