I came to know this sport
When stress had threatened my health
Everything had shattered, then
I could not find solace in anything but volleyball

My mind clouded, was abnormal
My heart heavy and burdened.
My body too weak, I could feel no happiness,
Only in this I could relieve my heaviness.

I said, ‘I will play volleyball till the end of me
To keep myself happy and fine,
To relieve my mental congestion,
Trying to keep away from psychiatric problems.’

I came to like and love to play
I play with a willing heart,
I play with a happy mind.
I surrender myself in this game

When people watch me playing
They say, ‘Your jumping is dangerous,
Your floating makes your spiking marvelous,’
But I only mean to be happy, not to play as a pro.
