They say it takes a village to raise a child
Don’t mention that it takes society to groom them wild
Women that break boundaries and shatter all rules
Young men that run rampant like untamed bulls

See, they set up norms by which we live
Our own dreams we are forced to forsaken
We are suppressed to the point that we give in

To the rites and practices, just so that we survive
When the way we behave outside is above normality
Don’t blame us, we’re innocent victims of society
