“STREET KID”

Living here,
right here, where pigs wouldn’t consider living.
No fear,
I know no fear, and I don’t remember dreaming.
I chose not to live here,
but still I have no reason to start blaming.

Dogs bark at me,
People look with disgust,
My parents abandoned me,
my guardians treated me like worthless dust.
It’s not easy to be me,
Yet to say that I am not the first!

“STREET KID”

Street kid, madman, hobo –
Those are the names I’m called.
I don’t really mind being called them,
I just hate the life I live.
I have nobody,
nothing and no hope for life.
If I die now,
who would care that I did?
Who’d bury a homeless, parent-less, guardian-less kid?

I sleep with a single blanket that has holes on it,
I wear the same clothes everyday,
I eat out of rubbish bins
and I go on for days without taking a bath.
I am not proud of that,
But, again i’m not ashamed.

Whether you hate me or not,
it really doesn’t make any difference!!!
