How they fall down from the sky,
Taking all their time
With those grey clouds,
Bringing sadness to a happy child,

How they fall down from the sky,
Causing mud for some flies,
Happy families play games
Next to the warming fire inside

How they bring joy to other parents,
Of those whose children are horrid,
They pray to God the rain never ends,
So their children can’t go outside

How they bring memories of loneliness to others,
Reliving the days of darkness
Those who only think negatives
But they’ll soon be OK

Even though raindrops bring all these kinds of feelings,
They’ll always be raindrops
