I took my passport with so much gait,
The Whiteman look at me very dazed,
I feel so calm in and out of me,
Like the owner of what is mine.

I have a reason to be proud,
I am the me I can ever find,
Is it the dark skin they seem to mind?
Sorry to tell them how I am inside

I walk with my dignity and unbought pride,
I own this right to my freedom and free mind,
I am the proud boy of the Black African class,
Never feel shy or angst to be like this.
