My heart boomed with excitement;
Excitedly crossed by disappointment;
Disappointed, eating bread and betrayal;
Betrayed by the ever loyal;
Loyalty, too much of you I ask;
Asking the stars to bear witness in clusters
Night by night,
In lingering sight,
Waiting unto thy posh hour,
Yearning for your arrival,
And starry night’s revival.
Twinkling companions sympathise,
But the silvery pear, I’ll emphasise.
