Looking back at the long-lost time,
Casting a faraway, wistful look, steering
down, the winding memory lane,
I’m looking back at an endless book.

The pages thereof, that are comprised
Of the truth, and the sundry lies,
Of the low and also the high,
And the virtue, and the vice,

Those were all,
All part of my life,
That got all slowly dissolved in time.
Looking back, at the glowing embers,
Looking back, at loving tender,
Looking back, at a distant thunder,
Looking back, at victory and blunder.

It appears to be a lot of fears,
It seems to be a lot of years,
It feels to be like a lot of tears,
There is also a sprinkling of taunts
