I won’t let you bother me, I won’t let you defeat me, I won’t let you control me. I won’t let you tell me what to do, whether I can’t or can. I still won’t let the little things have control over me because you are little things.

As a teenager I used to come across as a weirdo. I used to be bothered by the little things, such as not fitting in. I mean come on, I was a different. I met some people who were able to relate to it, but it was not even enough because, they were not like me.

Growing up does have an impact on you even when you get older. I never thought I would break out from my bubble, but I did. As time went on and I got older, I broke out of my shell and I was introduced to a wonderful, incredible young girl. I never thought that I would feel comfortable showing off who I really am.

I’m proud of myself. I’ve come a long way and I’m proud of the little things. I even live with them now. Let me just admit that I’ll always be a girl who’s different. I’ll always have the little things that make me unique and beautiful. My little things now make me happy.
