I remember sitting on top of the roof, gazing into the sky
I remember pondering much about how I got there
I remember hearing my teacher’s voice, persuading me to climb down
I remember sobbing uncontrollably, hoping for my late mother to rise from death
– Rosymary Mudzanani
I remember when i could make mistakes and not pay the price.
I remember when every one pretended that nothing was wrong.
I remember when it when life was easy and fun.
I remember when it all changed
I remember when the future seemed like it will never come,
When all my life was under the hand of Presents,
A king that ruled without any action that could take my mind away, to imaginary worlds…
I remember when the drums of impediments were never played,
When the future seemed so far to to be seen, even to reach,
All these words I say seemed like they’ll never be said,
Everything was a dream never to be dreamnt to the future…
I remember all the words of my mother and father,
Used to come out of their mouth like stones thrown into glasses,
They cracked my mind like thunder lighting,
Creating sparks that leaved marks which will never be erased from my medulla oblangata…
Those were lessons to prepare me for the future,
That seemed like it will never come,
So that when it comes, I could remember all their lessons…
Now I remember, that the future comes first,
And dreams last…

I remember the first hug that u gave me
the smell of your perfume made me fall in love with you
I could hear my heartbeat and my blood racing through my veins
The time moved quickly until i had to say goodbye….
I still remember when u whispered to my ear
feeling the warmth of your breath
hearing the soft words coming 4rm your juicy lips…
But it was time to say goodbye
