Walking down the dark world
All that is seen is pain
All that is felt is shame
All that I smell is defeat
Every step made drives me to the grave

But hope surprises, susurrates in my ears:
“Be strong, you have a future to grab.”

Sleepwalking in this life, I stumble
And to the ground, I fall
Side to side, I gaze
Thinking all is lost

Again, my close friend hope buries all my negativity
And whispers in my ears:
“Get up, get up, it’s not over yet.”
