I’ll lose the struggle and I’m not lying.
I plan to be immortal and I’ll die trying.
Continue to cast aside the words I’m saying.
I’m fizzing off the top like a soda pop and I’m not playing.
Is it a curse or a blessing?
Golden tongue, I always find words
to let out the stress in my head into the dirt.
It’s so hard being trapped in my mind,
feels like I’m locked away, though I committed no crime.
I just want my time to shine,
burning out like a lighting bug in a jar.
I’m singing inside but the noise don’t carry too far.

Unfortunately we’re all gonna die.
Honestly, that’s not a lie.
Patiently use your time wisely
and improve your strength widely.

Busting my life inside soundproof glass walls,
restoring words of wisdom in bathroom stalls.
Waving at souls never caring about their race,
shedding tears for peace upon this place.
When I die will you remember my face?
Or will you forget about me and just dance?
Honestly,
one day I’ll exhale my last breath.
That’s when I’ll get a call from death.
Always know that tomorrow’s a mystery
and it’ll end in misery.

Unfortunately we’re all gonna die.
Honestly, that’s not a lie,
Patiently use your time wisely
and improve your strength widely.
