She felt all sorts of pain.
Mostly the one that came from a wooden Cain.

She had to hide all the tears,
And all the heart-pounding fears.

The sad look in her mother’s eyes was all she had,
Nothing could protect her from her evil dad.

Today she still doesn’t know why,
Maybe there’s a hidden lie?

Day by day, year by year
She’s hoping the memories would disappear.

She tries to be strong, although she’s broken,

But God keeps reminding her, that she is a valuable token.
