He’s as tall as a skyscraper
He wears size six, those huge feet
He has manly like features, though he is just a boy
When he comes in, my face just churns with anger, with disappointment
My smile just drops down as soon as I see him.

Older than me, he has raised his hand to me before
I just wait for it to end but it never gets old
He come back stoned, as in high, and he just takes it out on me
And as always I do nothing, too cowardly to speak out
He is my family member
Closer
He is my brother
Born of the same womb and same sperm producer, yet he treats me like nothing
Like I’m some piece of trash he just picked up off the street.
