After journeying for miles,
I arrived at Camps Bay beach
With a twinkle of twitch of a smile,
The beach rich with the smell of the fresh sea breath
Spread across its length and breadth.
Amidst a forest of beings, alive and dead
Lying like a sack of sand on land
Fondling hand-made sand breasts
Big and well-shaped like lions’ head
Lost in the dream wonderland.
The sun’s rays massaging the living
Deciphering deep musical decibels of dope poetry verses
Dolloped by the sea waves
Poems watering my withered soul
Soon to blossom like a flower in the Garden
Of Eden.
