Summonsed by the dean of the university
To give my speech
Shocked and anxious
But before them I did speak

A few notes here
A few cheers there
And Bob’s your uncle
I was back in my chair

But not for too long
As they called me back
They wanted more and more
After that I couldn’t stop the talk

It went on for ages
We forgot about the hours
Time didn’t matter
As I cowered on

Huge roars of cheers continued
To blast
Through the university’s halls

Alas, the final curtain
Was called
We dashed out of the hall
And prepared the next day
For the Grande Ball
