You have chosen a provider instead of a confidant,
Because of your fears for tomorrow,
Don’t you know that tomorrow remains unknown?
You have settled for pleasure instead of stability,
Don’t you know that the sun,
No matter how hot the day is, has to set?
You have sacrificed happiness for wealth,
Who will you share the wealth with then?
You have sold your soul for a moment of the heart’s delight,
Was it worth the lifetime of misery?
You have opted for fruitfulness of the flesh,
While the spirit starves,
To whom are these fruits noteworthy in the heavens?
Keep in mind that all treasures were excavated,
The earth felt no pain, but rather a reshaping fracture,
The blood on the other hand,
From which we were bred,
Called for pain and suffering,
It remains, calling for no compromise.
