[At the Chief Executive Officer’s Office.]
Nomusa: George I want you to find my son, alive, please.
George: Don’t worry, Boss Lady. I know my job and I’ve been a private investigator for almost twelve years now.
Nomusa: I know George, it’s just that I want to make sure that you and I are on the same page.
George: I understand your concern, Boss Lady. So tell me, how old is your boy this year?
Nomusa: He’s nineteen years old, George.
George: Don’t worry Madam, I will find him. It’s better now because I have his photo. I will get my guys to find him.
Nomusa: You see George, if you can find my son I will make it worth your while.
George: Consider your son found, Madam.
Nomusa: I trust you big guy and I know you will never disappoint me, George.
George: I do not disappoint my clients, especial potential clients like you, who put fortunes in my pockets.
Nomusa: I’m glad to see that you are taking my case into serious consideration. You are the best investigator ever.
George: Thanks for your time, Madam.
Nomusa: It’s nice to do business with you, Mr Advocate.
George: Likewise, Mrs CEO.
[At Nomusa and Sham’s house]
Sham: Nomusa, love, I do not want to fight with you anymore.
Nomusa: Me also, Sham.
Sham: I want us to give our relationship another try, see what life’s got for us.
Nomusa: (smiling) Wow, that’s good news… do you really mean that love?
Sham: Yes, but on one condition.
Nomusa: (excited) Wow! It’s okay baby, what is that condition?
Sham: I want the both of us to be fully committed to our marriage; to be honest and faithful to each other. And I also want you to promise that you are going to stop the investigation, with immediate effect.
Nomusa: But babes, I do want to see my son. I don’t want him to think that I’ve forsaken him. Besides, I also want him to enjoy our legacy.
Sham: I understand very well love, but now you leave me with no choice but to file for a divorce.
Nomusa: But why you are doing this to me, Sham?
Sham: It’s because I want our marriage to work, not for you to dwell on something that is useless.
Nomusa: OK, if that’s what you want, my husband. I am more than willing to do it.
Sham: (smiling) You mean, you agree to drop the investigation?
Nomusa: Yes, I will phone my private investigator first thing in the morning to ask him to drop the investigation.
Sham: Wow, I don’t know what to say. I almost did a very big mistake by almost leaving you.
Nomusa: I am glad because we both realized that before it was too late.
Sham: That’s true, honey. So how about I take you out to a fancy restaurant to spoil you, my wife?
Nomusa: That is a good idea love.
[Nomusa’s phone rings]
Nomusa: Sorry babes, I have to answer this call.
Sham: It’s fine babes, I’ll wait for you.
Nomusa: (answering the phone) It’s Nomusa speaking, how can I help you?
George: Boss Lady, it’s George here.
Nomusa: Hey Honorable one, nice to hear your voice. So, what can I do for you, Honorable?
George: I’ve got good news for you, Madam. My boys found your son. He is in a safe place, but for now he doesn’t know that you are looking for him.
Nomusa: (excited) Thanks! Thank you very much big guy, I don’t know what to say.
George: OK, so I will see you tomorrow morning in your office.
Nomusa: OK, see you tomorrow then.
George: Bye.
[Nomusa drops the call and looks at her husband. She can’t contain the smile on her face.]
Sham: Who’s that big guy you were speaking with?
Nomusa: You can’t believe what I just heard, my husband.
Sham: What?
Nomusa: The guy on the phone was Juke, our Head of Human Resources. He was telling me that he managed to convince our Managing Director to not leave the company.
Sham: Oh that’s good news indeed, my love.
Nomusa: Indeed.
[Nomusa and Sham spent that night chatting and sharing all the good news they’ve experienced in their early ages. And they also promised each other to love and obey one another until death do them part.]

[The next day in the CEO’s offices.]
Nomusa: So tell me, George, where is my son? I can’t wait to see him.
George: Madam, your son is in danger and he needs our protection, until we get the guy who terrifies your son.
Nomusa: (shocked) What do you really mean when you say that my son is in danger? Do you want to tell me that his father wants to hurt him?
George: No, Madam. Your first husband was murdered by two guys and your son was lucky enough to escape. He has been in a church that protects children and vulnerable women.
Nomusa: (crying) You want to tell me that my son wasn’t kidnapped by his father?
George: That’s true Madam, your husband was murdered the day he disappeared with your son.
Nomusa: George, please find the people who killed my husband. I want them to pay for what they did.
George: I will find them and I will make sure that they pay for what they did to you and your family.
Nomusa: Thank you, George.
George: But please, promise me that you are not going to tell anyone about this, until we get enough information about your husband’s murder.
Nomusa: Not even Sham?
George: Not even Sham. If you tell anyone you will be risking your son’s life.
Nomusa: OK, I promise. But I need you to do me a favor.
George: What favor, Madam?
Nomusa: I want you to meet Sham and I will pretend as if I want you to drop the investigation and you’ll do the same.
George: Don’t worry, I’m a good actor. He will fall for my act, trust me.
Nomusa: OK, meet you there, then.
George: Deal!
Nomusa: Deal!
