[In Lucky’s office.]

Lucky: Oh, you managed to make him sign over my mom’s curatorship?

Ntuthuko: Yes, I made him an offer he couldn’t refuse.

Lucky: Well done, Ntuthuko.

Ntuthuko: At least now it’s you who runs all your mom’s assets.

Lucky: Yeah dude, that’s true but I am not done with that man.

Ntuthuko: So what else do you want me to do for you?

Lucky: I want you to create evidence that links Sham with Glen’s death.

Ntuthuko: What? You want what?

Lucky: I want Sham Jacobs to be charged for a murder he didn’t commit.

Ntuthuko: OK, but be informed Lucky, that it is very dangerous, it can even backfire on us.

Lucky: I don’t care, Ntuthuko, but I want this man to suffer like a horse.

Ntuthuko: If that’s what you want Lucky, consider it done.

Lucky: Thanks Ntuthuko. Now you can leave before people start having suspicions.

Ntuthuko: OK I will, keep in touch, Lucky.

Lucky: Oh, one more thing, Ntuthuko.

Ntuthuko: What is it, Lucky?

Lucky: I want you to tell your boys that I want Sham Jacobs shot by the end of this day.

Ntuthuko: (shocked) You want him dead now?

Lucky: No, tell your boys to shoot him with four bullets, but tell them not to kill him. I still want him prosecuted for Glen’s death.

Ntuthuko: Lucky, don’t you think the police will suspects you for trying to kill your stepfather.

Lucky: Ntuthuko, I am paying you to do your job not to question me, understand?

Ntuthuko: Loud and clear, Lucky.

Lucky: Good, now get out of my damn office and do as I say.

Ntuthuko: OK, Lucky I will do as you say.

Lucky: Good!

[In Juke’s office.]

Jessica: (shaking) Guys, I am afraid our lives are in danger.

Metsi: What?

Jessica: Someone was monitoring my investigation without me knowing.

Juke: (shocked) What? Oh no, you must be joking Jessica.

Jessica: I am telling you guys. I was so close to take Mr Jacobs down but when I accessed my system I found that all my files were deleted by someone who hacked my system.

Metsi: (shaking) So guys, do you think Mr Jacobs is behind all this?

Juke: Who else can do that, Metsi, except Sham?

Metsi: So what now Jessica?

Jessica: I don’t know guys but what I know is that Sham is after us.

Metsi: There must be some way to escape this situation, Jessica.

Jessica: I think we must leave the country before he gets his boys to kill us.

Metsi: That is a good idea, Jessica.

Juke: No, no it’s not a good idea, Metsi.

Metsi: Why?

Juke: Metsi I’ve got a department to run here; I can’t just run away and leave my department in jeopardy.

Metsi: Juke, you want to risk your life just because of a department?

Juke: Yes, this is my future, my life, Metsi.

Jessica: Metsi you can’t force someone to do something he doesn’t want to do. If Juke wants to stay here, let him stay, but the two of us are leaving for Zimbabwe right now.

Metsi: Now?

Jessica: Yes, now Metsi. I’ve asked one of my old friends to get us fake passports, he did get them and unfortunately we are leaving in an hour.

Juke: Guys, you can’t leave me in this mud alone.

Jessica: It is your call Juke, whether you join us or no but Metsi and I are leaving with or without you.

Juke: OK, OK fine! I am joining you guys but I have to phone my new boss and inform him that I am leaving the country.

Jessica: No you are not going to do that Juke.

Juke: Why not?
Jessica: These people are professionals, Juke; it might happen that they are listening to our phone call conversations.

Juke: But guys I don’t want to lose my job after my last demotion.

[The next morning in George’s apartment.]

George: Lucky, I just got a phone call from one of my source telling me that Mr Jacobs has been shot with four bullets last night and he’s in a critical condition at the hospital.

Lucky: Wow, so?

George: Lucky I just want to know if you are not behind his shooting.

Lucky: Mr George, I don’t care about Sham Jacobs.

George: (suspicious) Lucky, please tell me that you are not involved with his shooting.

Lucky: Mr George, this man is the man who killed my parents and drugged my mom’s grandmother; he deserves nothing but a slow, painful dead.

George: (shocked) Lucky you sent people to kill him? You know what Lucky; I don’t know you anymore, you are not the same Lucky that I know.

Lucky: Mr George, I want nothing in my life but revenge.

George: Lucky, revenge is a very dangerous thing and the life of your loves one.

Lucky: I don’t give the damn about life I just want Sham Jacobs to pay for taking both my parent away from me.

George: Lucky, there is always a big price to pay for revenge.

Lucky: I don’t care, Mr George! As long as I will bring Sham Jacobs down.

George: Now I am starting to regret why I told you that Sham killed your parents; because now you have changed to be something else.

Lucky: I am glad you told me, and I really appreciate that, but I am not going to stop wanting to destroy Sham Jacobs.

George: Lucky, you are not destroying Sham only but destroying yourself. You are not the kind of a guy who likes violence, but now… (shaking his head.)

Lucky: Yes, I am not brutal, but I just want Sham to experience every pain he caused my family.

George: That is very dangerous, Lucky.

Lucky: No, it is not dangerous but it’s kind of exciting; especial to see Sham get a taste of his medicine.

George: Lucky you are selfish my boy, you don’t think about how dangerous this mighty be for me or your great-grandmother.

Lucky: Mr George, I won’t tolerate you accusing me of being selfish and arrogant, are we clear?

George: You see what I’m talking about Lucky? You are brutal, dangerous and arrogant.

Lucky: Mr George, please stop calling me arrogant.

George: Lucky you are very dangerous to me, your mom’s grandmother and to yourself.

Lucky: I’d better leave before I say or do something I will regret.
