Someone knocks at the door and Precious answers it.

Precious: Masedi! (A big smile escaping her face).

Masedi: Surprise!

They hugged.

Precious: What are you doing here? Come in!

Masedi: Hello! You didn’t think I would miss this, did you?

Precious: But you said you had to work!

Masedi: I pleaded with my boss and she eventually let me come.

Precious: I can’t believe this! (Hugging Masedi again). How did you know I was here?

Carol: I told her!

Masedi: Hi Carol!

Carol: Hey! (Hugging Masedi) Precious is so rude, come sit down.

Precious: Really! (Smiling)

Masedi and Carol laughed.

Masedi: So you’re really getting on the plane, huh?

Precious: Yep. Don’t tell Ma this but as much as I’m excited about all this, I’m nervous.

Maria: I heard you! Hello Masedi.

Masedi: Hi!

Precious: Ma I…

Maria: (Interrupting Precious) I’m not going to chain you, don’t worry. (Looking out the window) Seems like your in laws are here.

Precious: They came? Why does it feel like you guys are taking this thing very serious?

Carol: Because it is! You’re lucky Tebalo’s family love you so much.

Masedi: I agree. Not many people have that.

There’s a knock on the door.

Maria: (Opening the door) Hello. (Showing them in by means of a hand).

Lebogang: Hello!

George: Maria! (Nodding).

Maria: You can go to the lounge.

Tebalo: We would love to but we have to go now if we want to get to the airport on time.

Precious, Carol and Masedi came to the room where the others were and all greeted each other.

Precious: Let’s go!

They all got out of the house, Maria locked and they went to the airport.
