Precious just woke up and heads for the kitchen.
Precious: Morning!
Carol: Morning sis!
Precious: Is that soft porridge? (Excitement).
Maria: Yes, sit down, I’m dishing up.
Precious: Yes!
Maria: I figured since you have such a nice job that pays pretty well and a rich man, you’re probably feeding yourself with all those fancy, unhealthy food.
Precious: Thank you Ma! You know no one makes soft porridge like you.
Carol: You got that one right. I’ve been trying to make soft porridge, it comes out fine but it’s still not like Ma’s.
Maria: Oh ,stop it. (Smiling) You’re just trying to talk your way out of cooking soft porridge, it’s not happening, and I enjoy your soft porridge.
Precious: Did Ma just compliment you?
Carol: I think she did.
Maria: If you two don’t stop talking, you won’t eat my amazing soft porridge.
Precious and Carol put their index fingers on their mouths then laughed.
They had an amazing breakfast full of laughter and joy.
At Tebalo’s home.
Kutlwano: I’m still stunned by Precious’ decision. If she can face her fear, I guess there’s still hope for me to find love.
Tebalo: Wow! I know her like that. She has an amazing effect on people. So, is there someone special in your life?
Kutlwano: Might be! But today is not about me. It’s about you and your woman. I still can’t believe you’re going to get married!
Tebalo: That’s if she accepts my proposal.
Kutlwano: You know she will, she loves you. She’s probably wondering why you haven’t asked her yet.
Tebalo lets out a huge sigh.
Kutlwano: Hey man! Don’t worry so much. She will accept.
Lebogang shows up.
Lebogang: OK you two, stop talking and come here. Tebalo, we have to go if you want Precious to talk to you throughout the flight.
Tebalo: Wait, we?
Lebogang: You didn’t think we would miss the big moment, did you?
Kutlwano: Yeah. Who would want to miss watching Precious getting into a plane for the first time?
George shows up.
George: Let’s go people!
They all got out of the house.
