We are living in the time of the global pandemic, and this global pandemic has brought a huge sense of NOs in front of everyone’s faces.
People generally have felt the bite of the virus, which is the effect of the global pandemic. As human beings we have all been drastically affected by the NOs that the recurring lockdowns are putting us through.
The consistent NOs that people are feeling are within themselves, and that is within their hearts, minds and spirits. People have been deflated by increasing joblessness, and a shrinking global economy where opportunities are becoming fewer and people’s options to get a go-start in life are dwindling.
Although it seems negative, this is the right time to shout your YES louder, to believe again that your soul can be set on fire on the course of your passions, interests and purpose. Our formal job sector, which is mainly focused on the traditional type of jobs, which are usually available, is shifting, our world is shifting into the talent economy. People will be hired based on their talents and credibility more than what they know, due to an increased sense of digital revolution and the advancement thereof. The global pandemic has set the tone for the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
Say YES to taking care of yourself, and your mental health.
Say YES to believing that you’re deserving of good things.
Say YES to starting that business that you long have been postponing.
Say YES to applying for the job you have been longing for.
Say YES to accelerating your dreams.
Say YES to entering into your purpose.
Say YES to loving, and taking care of your family and friends more.
Say YES to deleting the ‘pause and delay button’ for who you’re meant and created by design to be.
Although it seems optimistic, this is the season where each and every one of us needs to choose to reinvigorate ourselves, and set our sights in the direction of our destinies.
In closing, John Lewis once said: “If not now, then when? If not us, then who?”
