Three magical words… These words are so powerful. They are so strong and deep. They can save lives by just uttering them. You can save fights, chaos, hatred, and all those negative things you could possibly think of.

Not everyone can say it, it’s something special. They don’t choose you, you choose them. It is very tough to let them escape your lips, trust me. Before you can say them, there are three things that you have to do first.

Firstly, you need to acknowledge your mistakes, which is hard to do. Secondly, you need to take responsibility of your actions and try to rectify your wrongs. Thirdly, this one is very important and I think it is the toughest thing to do. You need to swallow your pride, put your ego down.

Now do you think you can do those three things? Yes, it is hard. It takes a strong, special, unique person to do those three things. But I think we are all strong, special, and unique but we just don’t realise it. We don’t realise that we have it in ourselves to do that.

If you have done something wrong to another person and you see that what you have done is wrong, what stops you from recognizing or acknowledging your mistakes? Take responsibility for your actions, swallow your pride and ego and just apologise. You can do it, but you do not want to do it.

You choose hate rather than love. You now choose to have enemies not friends. At the end of the day, what do you gain? Nothing.

If you can say, “I am sorry”, then just know that you are a strong, special and unique person. It may feel like it is not when you do it but trust me, you are strong, special and unique. Not everyone can say, “I am sorry”. Not everyone can apologise and realise their actions can hurt others. Not everyone will feel deeply ashamed of their actions. Not everyone can ask for forgiveness.

By saying that, you have done something magically amazing. It’s hard to make peace. And you know that it is easy to fall but hard to get up. So if you always get up when you fall, it simply means you are stronger. You know you have done something wrong to someone and you haven’t apologised? Go and apologise. Don’t wait for them to come to you. Take initiative and be the change you want and need to see.

Let the magic begin!
