The wind does not have a physical body nor does it have a particular sound. The wind cannot be seen by the natural eye; it cannot be held in one place by the hand. The wind brings destruction, but it also brings joy when it’s a light breeze on a hot summer’s day. The wind blows in every country, every nation, upon every person who has the freedom to feel it.

When you’re on the inside of a building you can see what the wind does, but you cannot feel how it moves. Your skin does not experience the swiftness of it passing by, your body cannot feel the chill or the cold atmosphere it creates. When you open a door or a window where you stand, you give the wind access to move, you give it the ability to be felt.

The Bible says in Psalm 18:10, “And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly: yea, he did fly upon the wings of the wind.”

Just like the Holy Spirit, we cannot feel Him, we cannot see Him, we cannot keep Him in one place; He’s omnipresent. He is everywhere you go, He’s inside you and beside you. Just like the wind He has wings. He is felt by his swift ways and His gentle presence but only if you open the window of your heart, or door, and allow Him to come in. Just like the wind, will He blow on through and do what only He can do.
