I remember that day when it was my dad’s pay day. I came home from my friend’s house and smelt and smiled, feeling excited. My heart was jumping and then I just asked, “What did you buy?”, and dad replied, “Pizza,” and I was happy.

Then we were praying to eat and when my mother said, “Amen,” I was already licking my fingers saying, “That was good. I want seconds!” I was young and foolish but now I understand that we pray before we eat. But I will never forget that crunchy crust, melted cheese and bacon.

Then when my friends were waiting for me outside then my mother gave me seconds again. They came in and I hid my pizza. Yum! THAT DAY!
