The day I lost my baby girl was the worst day of my life. I thought I would die too. She was stillborn; she was dead inside my womb. I was very scared because I thought the hospital was going to take me to theatre. In my mind I thought those who are taken to theatre, die. But the doctors at Groote Schuur did a wonderful job. They managed to give me pills so that I could go into labour and deliver her. But she was already dead and I was still alive. I was so hurt that I lost her because I was looking forward to being a mother.
