The wrong things we do to others hurt us in return but pride prevents us from rectifying our mistakes. We walk away with a voice in head telling us to turn around but shame stops us from looking back. Along the way, tears flow from our eyes as regrets whisper reminding us what a fool we have been.

Guilt holds on to the past and reminds us time and time again of our wrongs. The fright is over and we lost. Do they despise us or do they need us? What about the questions asked by our conscience as worries drive us far away from what happened?
