I took in a deep breath, trying to calm my nerves down, as I felt the same strong electricity commencing to erupt. This was the only feeling I get whenever he is around me.
I swallowed back the huge lump that had lodged itself in the back of my throat. At the same time my stomach began to do crazy somersaults inside.
I felt strong hands wrap around my body from behind, immediately providing me with warmth as his divine smell enclosed around me.
He took my hand and held it tightly in his. I held his back with the same strength, as if we were both afraid of losing each other. I felt hot stinging liquid prick in my eyes and I did not care about the hundred eyes that looked our way – I only cared about the man in front of me.
He brought his hand up and brushed away a lonely tear that had managed to escape from my one eye and my heart poured out with overflowing love for him, the man who had managed to steal my heart like a thief at night. But, the truth is, I would not have wanted my heart to be anywhere else.
He pulled me closer to his body, one hand encircled around my waist and I shivered from his touch. As Perfect by Ed Sheeran started to play in the room, he swayed our bodies with ease and skill around the dance floor. I took the chance to close my eyes, enjoying the moment of just being in his arms.
I looked up and saw him looking at me with so much love and admiration in his eyes. I felt my knees go weak under his intense stare. He lowered his face to my level, everything in the room disappeared as his soft warm lips connected with mine.
I knew then that I needed him in my life. He was and will forever be my first crush, my first heartbeat, my first kiss and my first love.
