It all started 2014, the year I finished my matric. I fell in love with a stranger like I usually do, this stranger was kind and different from others. Because he did a lot of things for me, as I was from a poor family. Love was never my thing.
I fell pregnant but didn’t drop out of school. The stranger changed from being there to not being there anymore. I tried committing suicide a few times and my grandmother was always there for me.
Love was never my thing. Luckily January came, the time for matric results, I couldn’t believe that I passed with a Bachelor Degree but I couldn’t go to university because I was pregnant, scared and my mind was all over trying to make things right. But I couldn’t, poor me.
