Kids are running around parks, down slides and swinging about while roaring with laughter. They’re eating ice-cream to the extent that they get ice-cream moustaches.

“Mommy can I have a vanilla ice-cream with sprinkles please?” The words come from children around the park.

I go to my favourite little coffee shop to order a large cappuccino with extra whipped cream to go, something tasty to wake up my taste buds on my way to varsity. Just imagining it makes me want to have one.

Although we would have to see or hear about gang fights and burnt trains again. The loud music coming from the neighbour’s massive speakers isn’t so nice. Having to hustle for the morning bus to varsity on days that the car breaks down. I can just imagine the struggle…. but hey it’s life.
