Death is real. I never knew how devastating it could be until closely encountered. It had no remorse. When it walked in, I felt a sensation of helplessness spreading through the room, I reached down for the bible but it was already late and dark.

The sinister atmosphere of its breath crippled me in so much that, I couldn’t utter even a broken word, I hoped the end would come quickly but it toyed with me, it enslaved me. I never wanted to let go; but the load was too heavy.

I went below and did what I could but the pain was irresistible, the wounds bled freely. I cried out for help till I was breathless but it grew with a severe steadiness after hours. My breath came quickly and unevenly, that’s when I finally let go.
