The DJ who wanted to be famous…

There was once a very talented musician from a place called Kagiso, who was so great at what he did but never got the platform to shine. But one day he woke up in the middle of the night, because he thought he heard his phone ring.

Confused he picked it up to see if it rang, he came across a message that read “Make a wish”.
Jokingly he made a wish to be a star and went back to sleep.

To his surprise, he woke up the next morning in a fancy new home with servants waiting on his every command.
Wow, he thought to himself.

The first few weeks were great. The food, shopping, cars, money, but after a month, he realised he had no contact with his friends and family and that’s when sadness came upon him.

Stage after stage, he performed but he had nobody to share this new life with, just people who wished to do their jobs and not be friends.

This sadness he experienced every night caused him to make another wish.

“I wish I had my old life again, I miss my friends and family,” he said with a tear falling down his cheek.

Miraculously he woke up in the morning to his mother’s voice calling.

“Grizzly breakfast,” he jumped out of bed, ran to his mother, gave her a long hug, but couldn’t tell her where he had been, because in that world she didn’t exist.

He just told her he loved her very much.

The moral of the story is be careful what you wish for.
