Be always grateful unto the Lord for life, good health, peace, family, and friends. Thanksgiving is an act of faith and to have a grateful heart helps you see progress. Always show your appreciation and celebrate everything God has done for you and your loved ones. You are still breathing, so you should be grateful.

At this time of the year, you should continuously have praise and thanksgiving sessions all by yourself and with family as well. You should give thanks because you are grateful for all that God is to you and all He has accomplished on your behalf. Be thankful for the hope in our spirit. Testify in thanksgiving of these and other blessings in your life. Look into your life and the passing year in retrospect, you’d find that God has been gracious and kind. His love, mercy and grace have seen you through a very remarkable year.

It could have been worse, so be thankful for the life He has entrusted you with. You might have lost more than you’ve achieved but at least you are still breathing. The losses help you learn to trust the higher power, and of course, develop a very strong moral fibre. Acknowledgement of his word means you love him so give thanks through prayer from your heart to the Lord this month. Offer God the worship and praise of thanksgiving.

Testifying is also another form of thanksgiving. Tell of what God has done in your life, it’s important not to dwell on what you did not achieve, that is not healthy. Rather be grateful for the joy of the Lord in your heart and the foundation of faith that God has given you. Thanksgiving projects you into the great future He’s planned for you so carry the atmosphere of thanksgiving with you everywhere you go. It is believed that he who is mindful of the business of the Father, the Father will also be mindful of his needs.

David, the Psalmist, once wrote: “That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving and tell of all thy wonderful works.” Then the Apostle Paul wrote to the Philippines: “Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made known unto God.” And he then further wrote to the Colossians: “Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving.”

It is not possible to live right to acquire righteousness. Living right is the result of righteousness, a very wise man once said of God.

Despite the contrary winds, walk like a victor, not as a victim. A man is not remembered for his achievements, rather by his character. Be grateful unto the Lord, He is the advocate, a friend and a comforter. He will never leave you, nor forsake you. Be grateful. You are a love child of a loving God so you are positioned by love, to give love and to live lovingly. Be grateful to God. As much as it is a fallen world, be grateful it isn’t dead. I am grateful to God, for He still has me around here.

We walk on cursed ground but it is funny – with God’s word whatever we lay our hands upon still grows and blossoms somehow, so be grateful. Thank you very much for reading. I am grateful for everything. Thanks to Shoes and family.
