Organisations such as under-resourced schools, community libraries, reading groups or youth development groups can apply to FunDza to become a beneficiary in the Popularising Reading programme. This programme provides groups with specially selected books and reading resources aimed at South African youth readers.
NB: FunDza can only support a limited number of groups due to funding constraints. The groups need to show that they wouldn’t otherwise be able to afford to buy the books and that they would use them effectively and responsibly to encourage reading for pleasure within the community they reach.
To apply to become a beneficiary, complete the application form at www.fundza.co.za or email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
