Dineo walked toward her hotel room. They were half-way through their tour and things were going well. Rome was amazing: the crowd tonight gave them two standing ovations.

The producer had come up to her afterwards and said he wanted to talk to her the next day; he had a few projects he’d like her to be involved in after Lion King finished. Her dream was really coming true! She walked down the carpeted passage, thinking how this might be one of the best days of her life, and when she opened the door of her hotel room it was confirmed.

“Lame! When did you arrive?” Dineo ran into his arms. He’d met up with her in Tokyo and New York already, and they’d had some lovely time together. They talked every day on the phone, Skyped nearly every night after her shows. They were apart, but still trying their best to be together.

“I arrived this afternoon. I was in the audience tonight. You were incredible!”

“Here since afternoon? Why didn’t you find me?”

“I had a bit of shopping to do. I wanted to surprise you.”

“Shopping?” Dineo could see he was up to something.

Before she could ask, he was down on one knee. He reached into his pocket and took out a small box which he opened to reveal the most beautiful diamond and tanzanite ring.

“I wondered Dineo, my most gorgeous Dineo, would you make me the happiest man in the world and be my wife?”

Dineo got down on her knees next to him and kissed him. She couldn’t believe this was happening, that one woman could be this lucky. She loved this man and wanted to spend the rest of her life with him.

“Oh Lame! Of course I will! Yes, I say yes!”
